Biomedical and Aerospace Design Engineering
Feruvem is a design and engineering practice for aerospace and biomedical work. We review drafts of a plan and develop concepts into something buildable. We turn a concept into proper CAD, test the shapes in a wind tunnel, and answer the engineering questions that decide what gets built. The same modeling and flow work carries outside aerospace and on to biomedical projects.
Every project comes with the variables, the files and the reasoning behind it. CAD files are cleanly made so your team can pick it up and keep working. Scope, price and date are agreed in writing before the work starts.

Four things we perform
These are the main areas where we can show our work and stand with the result.
1
Design and CAD
Concept layouts, aerodynamic surfaces and solid models, are built in CATIA. Shapes are modeled so they can be changed later by editing a few dimensions.
2
Wind tunnel testing
In aerospace, one of the ways we collect information is through wind tunnel testing. We find if results are stable and report the uncertainty alongside the result.
3
Engineering support
We handle the calculations and make sure they are correct. A project still needs to be properly checked in sizing, loads, geometry and mass properties.
4
Biomedical design
Device design and airflow work for medical equipment.
Not sure whether your problem fits? Describe it in a paragraph and we will tell you either way.
How we operate
The same five steps whether the job is CAD, a tunnel test, a set of calculations or a device design. The point of each one is that the result can be checked. Every number either traces back to a measurement, a dimension or a stated assumption.
1
The Question
We write down what you need to know, the design limits, and the purpose for the design. That statement is what the job is measured against at the end, and it is what stops scope drifting.
2
The Scope
A short written proposal of what we will do, what you will receive, the price and the expected finish date. If part of the problem falls outside what we do, it is stated at the start.
3
The Work
CAD is modeled and checked against your dimensions and constraints. Calculations are laid out step by step with every assumption listed in the beginning.
4
Check it
Measurements and calculations are repeated for consistency. If result is uncertain, we give a range instead of a number.
5
Hand it over
Native CAD files, drawings, raw test data and a written report with the method and the assumptions in it. Everything you would need in one folder.
How an engagement is structured
Each one is agreed in writing with a price and date before the work starts.
Fixed-scope job
One question with one deliverable
One defined piece of work, such as a model, a test campaign or a set of calculations.
Design support
Through several rounds
We hold the CAD and the test plan across a series of design changes and report at each round.
Review
Double checking
We check a model, a drawing set or a test plan you already have, or help you decide what work a problem actually needs.
Starting small
A first job is kept deliberately small, so you can judge the work before committing to anything larger. Everything we hand over is documented well enough for your own engineers to read.
Send us the problem. We will send back a scope.
A drawing, a CAD file or a paragraph describing the problem is enough to start. We will reply with a scope, a price and a date, or tell you straight if it is outside what we do.
Thank you, we have your inquiry
We will get back to you at the address you gave us. If you need to add anything in the meantime, write to engineering@feruvem.com and it will reach the same place.
